Commonwealth Relay Family Day-11th July 2014

A huge thank-you to everyone who helped to make today's Baton Relay Fun Day a roaring success. Our chairperson, Cameron Reid, had the honour of carrying the Queen's baton into the Rosebank Playing Fields for our Baton Relay Fun Day.
Special thanks go to Elise Lyall School of Dance, Thirsty for Theatre and the Marellian Majorettes and Robyn Aitkenhead who all performed so well today; all those from the Youth Club who worked tirelessly behind the scenes: Julie Mackinnon, Paul Mackinnon, Louis Mackinnon, Sannies MacLeod, Andrew Sinclair, Sonya MacDonald, Kirsteen Campbell and Euan Grant; our Youth helpers Amber, Lucy and Robert; Dina Macdonald, Lewis and Kerry Sinclair Jenny and Anderina Brass, Di Gunn; Steven McIver with the archery; Keith Moncur and Anna with the climbing wall and Vivs A Character mascots.
Last but not least a big thank you to the many members of the public who turned up, we were overwhelmed by your support. Hope you all had as good a day as we did. Thank you all once again.
Rosebank Easter Egg Hunt- 20th April 2014
Wick Youth Club would like to give a huge thank you to all those who turned out to support us at the Rosebank Playing Fields for our Easter Egg Hunt. Over 70 children and their parents came along and in total we gave out 40 easter prizes to those who entered bonnets and eggs and all those who found easter eggs with a prize ticket inside in the egg hunt.
A special thank you too, to the Easter Bunny who made lots of little people happy. We really do appreciate your support and hope that you will all continue to use the Rosebank Playing Fields in the months ahead.
Our next event is a Fun Day on 11th July, the day of the Queen's Baton Relay.
"Had a brilliant time at the Easter egg hunt, loads of kids, lovely weather and only £1. Hopefully they will hold more family days like this one. Well done everyone"

Wick Youth Club would like to thank all those who helped refurbish the outdated crazy golf course. An opening ceremony was held on the 20th of April 2014 at 3pm where Hallie Bremner offically opened the course.
We would like to thank Johnson Controls at Dounreay for their labour and materials, the Community Payback Team for their labour and A & W Sinclair for their materials. We have a plaque hanging in the pavilion commemorating all those who helped.
